More About Me...

​I am always adding to my tool kit and love sharing what I discover with my students. I  completed a Reiki 1 course in 2016 which was fantastic and is something I  enjoy using with my students during savasana. Having studied how to teach meditation  with Swami Saradananda in 2020, I run introduction to meditation courses as well as weekly meditation groups. Breathwork is a vital component within our practice and I enjoyed the Breathing School course I completed in 2021.

Seasonal Yoga

I qualified as a teacher in 2014 with Seasonal Yoga Teacher Training which was an amazing, life changing experience. I now teach  several classes a week in and around Godalming, Haslemere, Churt and Petersfield. We are part of nature and we can use our yoga practice to become in tune with the changing essence of the seasons. I teach meditative flowing classes  working to bring about a sense of calm and balance as well as re-energising and improving strength and flexibility. I am a big fan of Donna Edens Energy Medicine work and often incorporate her energy flow exercises into the practise. 

 

Chair Yoga

I believe that yoga is for everybody and I love running additional gentle classes aimed at the slightly older yoga student, or those who would prefer not to do floor work. The practice is still based around the seasons, however we do some of our asana seated rather than on the floor. We practice standing postures too increase strength and balance and always finish with a guided relaxation. It is still a very rewarding practice and even long term yoga students are amazed by the scope of what we can do in a chair based class.

Yoga Therapy and 1:1s

I am  a yoga therapist having qualified with Real Yoga Therapy in 2019. As well as working with individuals to help improve heath and well being, I run short courses and workshops focusing on specific areas such as sleep, menopause, osteoporosis and anxiety.

Emotional Freedom Technique

I am a Level 2 EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) Practitioner which is a fabulous technique to help alleviate stress and anxiety. See my Facebook page for more information.
